Important Installation Note:
If you are using 1-inch (25mm) thick spacers or thinner, there is a possibility that your OEM hub studs may extend beyond the surface of the spacer plate. If the backside of the wheel does not have adequate clearance pockets to accommodate these protruding studs, the wheel will not mount flush against the adapter — which can cause unsafe driving conditions such as vibrations or improper torque.
To ensure a proper and safe installation:
Check whether your wheels have back-side cavities that align with the factory studs, allowing for clearance, or
If not, you will need to trim the factory studs to a shorter length so they do not interfere with the wheel's mounting surface.
This modification is commonly required with thinner adapters, especially around the 1-inch thickness range, due to limited space.
